About the role An exciting opportunity has become available for a Registered Nurse & Midwife to join the Northern Territory Health. As a Registered Nurse & Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing top-quality healthcare services to the local community. What you'll be doing Providing exceptional nursing and midwifery care to patients across Mental Health NT Health is launching a new facility with 300 beds for mental health patients Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed Administering medications and treatments according to best practice guidelines Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining detailed records Actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a positive team culture What we're looking for Current registration as a Registered Nurse and Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Demonstrated experience in a similar nursing and midwifery role, preferably within a healthcare or hospital setting Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team A passion for continuous learning and professional development N2 level nursing grade or equivalent required Candidates without beyond entry to practice certificates are eligible to apply and will be offered a 2-year fixed period to facilitate achieving the certificate What we offer Any level of mental health nursing experience is welcome for candidates with proven clinical knowledge in delivering mental health services.
